All these FloodSax came from this one easy-to-carry box
More partners are needed worldwide for FloodSax, the world’s original and best-selling alternative sandbag.
This is the original sandless sandbag invented by British company Environmental Defence Systems Ltd in 2007 following a request from the UK Government and since then around 3 million have been sold worldwide.
Demand continues to grow due to climate change and the massive increase in flooding globally which is set to keep on rising.
Lucy Bailey from EDS Ltd said: “We get requests worldwide for FloodSax and so are looking to expand our network of partners and distributors.
“Flooding has become a massive problem worldwide and is only due to get worse due to climate change which is severely affecting many countries. FloodSax is the world’s number one solution for emergency flood protection inside and out. The potential market is vast and continually increasing.”
The FloodSax is unique because it’s the world’s ONLY alternative sandbag that can be used both outdoors and indoors to prevent flooding and limit damage from escapes of water. The potential market is huge from homes and businesses to corporate clients such as supermarkets and public buildings, including hospitals.
FloodSax come in vacuum packs of 5 which are very space-saving to store.
In their dry state FloodSax are super-absorbent yet thin with a large surface area so are highly effective at soaking up water inside homes and businesses, especially in hard-to-reach places such as beneath pipes, radiators, sinks, boilers and refrigeration units. This prevents water from spreading and causing severe damage to floors, electrics, plasterboard and furniture, along with fixtures and fittings.
To transform FloodSax into instant sandless sandbags simply fully immerse them in water. The FloodSax’s gelling polymer absorbs around 20 litres in about 5 minutes and retains it, transforming the FloodSax from as light as a pillowcase to more effective than traditional sandbags.
