It looks like it’ll be a milder January than usual … but the sucker punch is that it will be a wet and often windy one. The Met Office has just released its forecast for the month and the word that dominates is ‘unsettled.’
The worst hit areas will be the west with the risk of heavy rain although we may be lucky and see some drier, brighter and colder spells but always keep your brolly handed as showers will never be far away.
The good news is that the Met Office says that temperatures from New Year’s Eve to January 10 will be “mild or very mild.”
From January 10 to January 24 the Met Office says there is “still the chance for some widely milder conditions too, bringing the risk of heavy rain and strong winds at times.”
